I love expressing myself with manicures (you can check out my weekly creations on Instagram!) I decided to try the Wahine collection from Hula Polish. I love the results!
Instructions
- I file my nails while they are still polished, before I remove and prepare for the next manicure. I use a glass file, which never wears out! After getting the shape right, I lightly file the tip of each nail from the top at a 45-degree-angle, kind of thinning out the tip of the nail.
- Use a basecoat. After painting each nail, go back and paint the back side of any fingertip that shows above your finger. My favorites are Nail Tek II, CND Stickey, and Nubar.
- I decided to do a “skittles” treatment with these 5 polishes. I painted two nails each in the colors.
- Finally, use a topcoat. My favorites are Seche Vite and Poshe.
I recommend this polish. It lasted more than 7 days with very minimal chipping and virtually no shrinkage. You should probably use 3 coats with Hula Hooper and Coconut Cutie. My favorite colors are Hibiscus Honey and Maui Mermaid. And of course these colors go very well with my Aloha print clothes!
